Lease Assumption – 2011 328xi MT - $550
This is a BMW 328xi MT sedan leased in Sept 2010 for a 36 month lease with BMW Financial Service (BMW FS). Black on black interior with aluminium trim. Car is not kept in a garage and a non-smoking car. I am looking to part with the car ASAP. Lease base payment @ $550 per month. 5 months into the lease, the car is only at a little over 3200 miles with a 10,000 mile per year allowance. Almost fully loaded, the car packages include: Premium Package Sports Package Heated seats and steering wheel Xenon Lights Satellite Radio Power seats Moon roof iPod connector Bluetooth system Cruise Control Manual Transmission Trident Protection Systems - tire and wheel protection, dent and door dings and windshield repair Residual: $26,729 Current Buyout: $39,944 If you’re in the Midwest, I am open to driving to major cities such as Chicago, Indianapolis, or meeting you halfway, but that defeats the purpose since I’m trying to keep the miles low so the person can assume it with miles to spend. I am going to be slightly firm on the price and I am hoping to walk away without paying anything. But with the payments are kind of high compared to what people are offering on the forums, I am open to negotiation, but no low-ball offers. PM me if you’re honestly interested. Lessee will need to have good credit to lease from BMW FS. Contact me at sunny.ting at gmail.com or 765-337-3911 – Ask for Sunny. Last edited by sunny.ting; 02-12-2011 at 02:12 AM.. |

how much did you put down when you leased it if you don't mind sharing?

I put $1000 down when I got the car. The wheel / body protection package was what ran the lease amount a bit higher but is worth it if incase anything happens and when the times comes to return the car, not a lot of money has to come out of pocket.

You have to go out and look and see 1. what would a brand new lease with $1000 down on this same car cost me today? rates and BMW incentives might make it cheaper to go new so why would someone what a used one then? 2. what kind of payments are others trying to swap their lease on a similar car at? I would say visit swaplease.com and leasetrader.com and do some homework. If you're priced right, it shouldn't take long but if you're overpriced you might want to consider an incentive to drop the effective monthly payment down into the $499 and under range if you really need to get out of the lease. Just my $.02 |

From BMW's lease estimator, the car with my MSRP @ $41650 with a 36 month / 10k mile per year lease would run about 548 per month, which is two dollars off what I'm paying (exclu. tax).
Most of the lower payment 328xi on swapalease are not actually fully loaded. Sport and premium package alone already run the car up by about $4500, along with the other good stuff like Xenons, you're looking at about $6000 over the base models. Thanks for the heads up though. I might repost with a lower amount maybe in a week or two if there are no bites. I know that the amount seems high but its all fairly justified and I'm willing to negotiate. |
