I was using the cup holder closer to the driver side. I cornered a little hard and it just tipped and poured all over the shift boot.

Allowing drinks in the car to start with is generous. Hope it wasn't too bad to clean up.

I always take coffee to work with me in the morning, other than that there is usually no food or drinks in the car. I'm using my backup coffee thermos which is slimmer on the bottom and fatter at the top.. throwin that bitch out. I ran inside the building, grabbed a shit load of toilet paper and a water bottle, cleaned right up

I've done that too many times in other cars which is why I refuse to let anyone bring beverages in my car. Even with "better" cupholders, I've had spillage.

Just means you've gotta take the corners more slowly with caffeine in there.

At least the door didn't open and you flew out of the car instead.

officially a douchebag when I got the specific bmw cupholder to fit those cupholders. A week later I sold the car and the new cupholders accept a huge circumference (no homo) and suck just as bad. Check out ultimate cupholders...got the 2 pack and love em wish I had them for my 335

That sucks! I had this happen to me with a "top heavy" thermos as well. Coffee got all in the little crevices and my ashtray cover still sticks a little bit. No more food or drinks in the car for me.
