New Tires Help !!!!

I have the stock 16in rims and need to get some new tires. Right now I have P205.45.16 but want a wider tire. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good tire size?

Thanks

You tires now should be 205/55/16, but you can put on 255/50/16.

I had the same tires (205/55R/16) on my 328 xi base model. I now have 225/45R/17's...they look a lot better.

Did you really mean 255/50R16? 225/50R16 would be comparable, but the 255/50 would represent a 5% difference in revs per mile.

The OP should probably stick with the OEM 205/55R16.

Correct size are 205/55R16 and 225/50R16, just to clarify .
