Be aware that in the US BMW sedans are not rated for towing, and having a hitch may come back to bite you if you have any engine or driveline issues during the warranty. This is, of course, ridiculous, as the same cars are tow-rated in Europe and you see them towing all sorts of things.
However, that's how it is, and BMW is being really picky about warranties in the US right now. That also means you can't buy the OEM hitches in the US, and BMW dealers won't install them for you. There are alternatives, of course. |
