low heater fan output?
hi, 2011 323i seems to have low fan speed output. it is on highest fan setting. Doesnt matter if its on auto or manual mode, the fan doesnt seem to blow hard enough to warm feet area even if its switched to floor only. The blower seems to go to a higher level if you put it on defrost though. Any thoughts, or is it normal for 3ers to not get that warm inside on cold days(below freezing) There sems to be very little speed difference between 5th speed setting and 4th?

well after taking it to dealer to look at, they told me they compared it with another car and the blower output is the same as that one. But when i showed it to them that the fan speed from 3rd to 5th setting does not change, they then said that they noticed that the battery was low from driving short trips, and will put it on charge over night?!? not to mention that i drove it for almost 30 min before i got to dealer, i think battery would have been near full charge by then?
is this BS or what! has not anybody have an issue with not getting hot enough or fan blowing very little on high? 1996 ford probe you have to turn down the heat after 10 mins and those door windows have a massive window noise draft too. |
