Issue after car wash
Last night I got my car washed even though it was only 15 degrees. Pulled away after they dried it without any problem. I went back to my office for an hour or so and when I went to leave it felt like something was blocking one of the wheels - the car would start to "lean forward" but then stop. I checked under each tire and around each wheel well but didn't see anything. I got back in the car, gave it a little more gas and it moved forward. No problems after that. This morning I left to go to work and encountered the same issue. any thoughts on what this might be?
Thanks! |

Any time you wash a car in those temps you risk water freezing your brake pads to the rotor or anything else that moves. Not a big deal, it will quit.

Yupp. Frozen. I once did some donuts in a snow covered lot and the snow melted and froze in my wheels.
I drove the next day and had horrible vibrations above 30mph. It was the ice that threw them off balance. But in your case, you couldn't move. |
