Please help~!!! my car won't start :(

i thought it was the battery and tried jump start...
but it won't work...i get all the lights and all...
the brake is locked when i tried to press them...
is it a spark plug, fuel pump, compression??
can anyone please answer me~??!!!

I've seen this before. Your car is auto right?

What's happened is your brake pedal is jammed due to air or moisture in the line. For an auto, you need to depress the brake in order to start the car.

What you have to do is to step on the brake pedal really hard, as hard as you can, then you'll be able to engage the ignition.

Had the same problem. The lights would go on but the car wouldn't start. The car wasn't getting enough juice from the other car. I used my pickup with a bigger battery and it started in seconds. The previous car was a cavalier.

Edit: try my method after you do the above posters method I have a 6 mt
