staggered BBS rims but not staggered tires for xdrive and safe?

Hi,

Is it safe for xdrive, if I buy DIFFERENT size rims but have same sized four 235 tires?

Can BBS RS-GT 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 have 235 tires all around?

The reason I want to try this way is that I want to buy a BBS rims I can use for current xdrive and maybe later non-xdrive. And I don't want staggered for my xdrive, even thought I read one of factory options for xdrive is 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear rims with 225 front and 255 rear tires, and within 1% of diameter difference is okay.

Thanks in advance.

Your wheel set up will be staggered, but I guess technically your tire set up won't be. Not really a fan of the stretched look, so a 235 on a 9.5 wide wheel is not really my style.
