What should I expect to pay to get a new front bumper installed?
I drive the 2006 330i in my sig. I live in the winter wonderland that is Minneapolis, and yesterday I hit a benign-looking chunk of snow in the middle of the street, only to find that it was in fact ice. It left a fist-sized divot in the portion of the front air dam below the passenger-side foglamp. I assume this means I'd need to replace the entire front bumper unit.
What can I expect to pay to get this replaced with a new, painted part? Is it worth the hassle of ordering a bumper from Tischer and having it installed locally? Thanks!

The bumper is actually quite easy to remove and install. If you're a DIY'er, I would look at the DIY on remove the front bumper and remove it yourself and install the new one your self.
OEM bumpers will come primed (I think) so you just need to spray it.....which can range from $300 - $500 depending on quality, paint matching, etc. |

I had to replace a torn bumper on a previous BMW a couple years ago. It was $1100 for all parts, labor, tax, fees. This was at a dealer body shop so an independent may be less. IIRC the bumper itself was $300 -- no PDC, etc. just a simple bumper.
