Wheel offset question

I realise that, strictly speaking, this isn't a 3 series specific question, but we don't have this nifty looking 'Tire-Rack' re-sizing calculator on the UK forum.
I'd like to know if there's anywhere I can find out the wheel offset for different BMW cars for the following reason.
I have an F10 with 18" wheels and I want to upgrade to 20", but as I'm already looking to trade up to a new 6 coupé late next year, I'm wondering if the wheels will have the same offset, making them transferrable from the 5 to the 6 series.
Long shot I know, but with the wealth of knowledge on the forum, I'm hoping someone will be able to help - thanks.

Have a look at the realoem website to see the list of wheels available for the 5 series. If you click on each style it shows the offsets in the parts listing.

The 6 series isn't even released yet (AFAIK), so it is going to be hard find much info.

Many thanks for the info - am I correct in assuming that the offset (in mm) is the ET number?

Normally the 5, 6, and 7 series have had similar offsets.

The F10 and F01 has not the exact same offset, but a few mm difference.
So I can only guess that the new 6 will be in the same offset area.
