going with Pilot Sport A/S Plus over Conti DW ?
I had all but decided to go with the DW's, but from what i'm reading it sounds like the michelin tire performs as well as the DW with a better treadwear rating and better turn in response (which is important to me). I have the old Pilot Sport A/S on my E36 and they are fine to me so I would think the A/S Plus would be fine. only thing is my old ones are not the Plus and both sets I had wore out down the middle which I think was a design flaw they have fixed in the Plus..can anyone confirm this? I was going to call TireRack to ask their opinion on the 2. I'm just scared to go to a brand I've never had before (Conti's) and I know Michelin has a great reputation, except for that design flaw I mentioned. Anybody had both set of tires and can give their experience?
thanks!
