it amazes me that there are people like you who do not read.

I said I wish I could return if I could. I did not say I dont have the receipt.

Heck, I am attaching a screen shot right now and I have no idea why I just went through this.

The order was placed online and I have a packing slip INSIDE the box that Apple sent that will match the order number on the top.

I will also bring MY OWN driver license, which I will show it to you at the exchange, to show MATCHING address with the receipt.

So, 3 matching documents for you. Packing slip (came in the box), receipt (online order), my Pennsylvania Driver's License, expiring in 2013.

I could just return it, yes, but i dont want to if I can, for other reasons.

If I want to make up a story to scam, I'd just say I wont this in a company lottery, which does happen most of the time and not as a gift from my mother who knew i was looking for a mac and did not know that I already just bought it.

Anyway, the item is not stolen, or picked up on street or something. It is legitably bought. (Just not by me, and the item was sent to me and therefore the matching address to my driver license)

I don't get how it really matters, why do people make such a big deal about it. Lets say its stolen. The macbook itself would still be covered warranty, as long as the warranty remains. You can re-register it or register it after reformatting, and as long as the warranty lasts, it doesnt matter as the computer itself is still covered and registered. Only, it doesnt feel right buying something stolen.

Well, there is no "condition" for mine, as it is still sealed and I just want to sell this quickly if I can and I think $2000 is more than a fair price for a brand new exactly the same item.

For the record... I would never knowingly buy a stolen property.. that would mean I am supporting the thieves to steal... what if mine got stolen, you know?

you guys do realize the i7 Core Macbook also comes with the best available video card for a Macbook.

I use mine for photo editing/video/CS5/Elements.. the image/program runs FAST!!!

The base one has the 256MB cache video card. This is the only version that comes with 512MB cashe NVIDIA card.
