Excessive heat from leg area

I've noticed when my heat is on there's an area on the side of the shifter area that gets very hot. Normally during traffic my leg will rest against it. It gets so hot I can't rest against it! Does anyone else noticed this? I can take a picture tonight and show you where I'm talking about.

Also, I'm working on a few DIY write up's on the 335D. Does anyone know of a moderator I could submit the photo's and write ups to?

Thanks!

Are you running heat through to the rear outlets? There have been issues where a heating duct comes off/adrift underneath the middle gearlever surround/console.

The center console always runs warm whether its the summer or winter. 0 degrees this morning and my leg was comfy resting up against it!

Yea mine gets hot as well....only on long trips though, like over an hour.

So what's this duct that comes apart? Any diy? Or can someone explain where the duct is?
