Calling all E92s on 20s!!

Thinking of running 20s on my E92.

Looking for advice from those who have experienced it first hand:

What width and offset?
What tires?
What's your suspension setup?
Any rubbing or would you do it differently second time around?

Not that much choice in tire sizes.
Most goes 235/30 or 245/30 up front, and 285/25 in the rear.
I've only seen one 275/25 tire from Dunlop.

And the car need a good drop to poll of the 20s look I think.

yeh I've started looking into tyres and there isn't much choice for 25 series profile.

Pirelli has a 255/25 so might have to go with a bit of stretch on the ~10.5inch rear

Might just stick to 19s

... what do you guys think??

For 20s I'd go for 245/30/20 on 20x8.5" all around. Probably skinny ones like Falken. Wider rear rims would be more likely to get bent because the wheel spokes don't provide much support for the inside lip.

I think some people running 245/30/20 on the front of E92 have some minor rubbing on the inside front fender and sometimes at full lock. E90 is probably less likely to rub. Maybe you can avoid it with the right offset or perhaps some camber.

Personally I wouldn't use 20's because they will slow the car down too much. I can notice quite a difference between my heavy stock 17" and and my lighter Advan RS in 18". In my view 20s are not really practical on the roads where I am anyway.

8.5s can look a bit weak though.. especially if I'm trying to get them real flush, therefore run a bit of tyre stretch.

The 20s will be forged so no problems with weight there!
As for handling, yah slight detriment but it'll be pretty neglible anyway!

According to AC schnitzer, 20x9 ET35 on the front is a recommended fitment. Wide / stretched fitment of 25 series tyres on the rear seems a bit questonable if you want to use the car as a daily driver on Sydney's roads. Maybe 19s is a better way to go for a flush fitment.

Im currently running 8.5/30 245/30Falken 452 on the front and 10/40 285/25/20 in the rear. I do have my fenders rolled and i am currently running Sport suspension with room for Eibach pro kit. The front is absolutely flush but the rear could use 10mm spacers.

I've only measured the offset myself, and I found the front to be +43 or +44, so I'm using 10mm spacers in the front.
So this was a bad fitment from Enkreuz since they were made for an e92, I bought them used.

The rears I measured to be +38.

I'm feeling 285s will be too wide on the rear. No 275s available on tirerack either.
That means I might have to go with 265/30/20 on the rear, 20x10 ET 30-35.

Or go to 19s..

1) much easier to fit
2) more choice in tyres
3) slightly lighter and better handling
