Hi mate,

Ive got one somewhere comparing some Pug Denz and A5 3.0tdi with the 335d which quite comrehensively rapes them.

There are LOADS of reviews on this UK site about 335d's

I have loads of vids of mullering various cars if your interested?!

Chap, i NEVER said i would do a 335d on a strip....i repeated that, maybe ten times...come on now. Big hp difference there and that + driver skill is what counts.

Thats like a Veyron owner saying he would do you..... Of course they would. Badly. With blood.

I was just musing that on OUR back roads, in the real world. Would i pick a fight with a 335d?........yup, absolutely.

Maybe not ALL 335d drivers are as committed or skilled a driver as your good self mate. A Clio's handling would flatter even the most spastic driver (me) moreso than a 335d im sure.

nice vids.............

that vauxhall was dissapointing, the cupra seemed like he had his handbrake on ( as did the 320d) & the 335i was a bit off the pace.

How much is it down to the fact that in the 335d you just bury the throttle & take off ??

Quick car + good driver mate.

Its quite hard to get off the line perfectly. Standing starts are not its Forte... Rolling starts are!!!! Even quicker from a roller.

do you just hit the throttle at the green light or do you rev it with the brakes on & then release the brakes ?? traction control on or off ??

Just pulling away is slow. You do have to "Brake Boost" T/c completely off. Get some practise with it partially off at first.
