BMW CCA is worth it for Roundel alone, plus the discounts for drivers schools

BMW CCA member here. Its worth the discounts plus when you buy a new car or CPO car the CCA will give you a $250-$1000 rebate check. I got $500 when I bought my CPO.

I like it first for the monthly roundel mag which is a must for a bmw owner.
Second I get 15% off and sometimes 25% off parts accessories at my dealership. Third nothing like a added rebate for buying a bmw.. |

+1, CCA member here. Roundel magazine alone is well worth it. like other members stated, CCA member only driving school, special track day, CCA regional annual dinner (yes, because the raffle prize at the dinner is pretty nice, LOL), also the discount parts at bmw dealership (but i usually order from tischer) and discount on the new/CPO car purchase after your 1st year of CCA membership.

Yeah, BMW CCA/Lone Star Chapter member. Definitely worth it. I joined in July. We have a nice local chapter. And in December I got a great deal on a new battery for my '07 E92, installed & registered at Classic BMW in Plano with the BMWCCA discount, just on that one relatively small item the membership saved me close to the membership fee. And of course I enjoy Roundel as well, and the forums.

Lifetime member here. Don't understand why anyone who's into BMW's isn't a member.
It's really strange. I have a bunch of friends who buy BMW and want to do HPDE, but just won't join??? Everytime they get one, I tell them they could have gotten $500 or $1,500 back, but they ALL say the same thing, "yeah, but I already got a good deal." WTF does that mean? You don't need more cash in your hand?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'm member of Allegheny chapter - ditto on the Roundel & new car discount.
I actually can't wait till the next issue of Roundel comes out

I rejoined and haven't even gotten my car yet. Belonged in the 80's when I had my first BMW and I immediately joined when I ordered my new one. Well worth the price.

Yeah, I should have joined prior to buying my 1st BMW - I guess you have to be a current member + have been a member for a year PRIOR to buying the car to qualify for the money back on a new car

It’s very beneficial to be a member of BMWCCA for club-sponsored driving schools, track days, new car and CPO rebates, BMW parts and accessory discounts, Roundel, Die Zeitung (the Connecticut Valley Chapter's magazine), camaraderie with true BMW enthusiasts, etc.

I've been a member for almost two years. If it were not for the rebate program, I would let my membership lapse.
Contrary to popular opinion, Roundel is my least favored car magazine subscription. I breeze through it quickly, then pass it on to others. I have no interest in participating in the meetings or driving events. I haven't yet, but will certainly take advantage of the rebate program if I choose to buy another BMW. |

Been a member of BMW CCA for 14 years, though for the first 12 years all I got out of it was the Roundel magazine (well worth the price of admission) plus an occasional discount on parts at the dealer. I was driving an E36 convertible, so had no chance to attend a BMW CCA driving school. Ironically it was only after I bought an Audi S5 two years ago I started to take advantage of the BMW CCA driving schools - been to two schools so far with the Audi! (I also joined the Audi Car Club, and have been to 4 additonal schools with them.) I also started autocrossing my 'vert with BMW CCA. So, after 12 years of virtually no activity I have become a very active member. And having recently sold the E36 and just picked up an E93 this past week, I have already sent in for the $500 loyalty rebate.
BTW, nation-wide the participation rate of BMW CCA members in chapter events is less than 15%. So I'd say the vast majority of people are in it only for the member loyalty rebate, dealer discount on parts, and The Roundel.
