Subaru STI->Ls1 Camaro -> 335i e90
Hello!
I was currently in the market for a AW or SGM e90 or e92 but I think i'm set on a AW e90. I'm looking forward to learn from this forum since it's my first BMW. I've had a 350 awhp+ STi, LS1 powered 1967 camaro, and cbr600rr. Hopefully I can find a used 2007-2009 AW around the northern ca area. First thing first, what do people first do to these fine machines? I'm thinking of blacking out the current "chrome" window trim and etc. Intake system/exhaust/tune? Here's a few pics of my old ride. My Voltex/ARC/semi jdm 2005 STi... this was in 2007 before the "flush" movement got all "hyphy" LOL . 1967 camaro: I hope you guys enjoy.... looking forward to finding my e90 -Dan Last edited by dlouie87; 01-12-2011 at 02:57 AM.. |

Nice camaro, I use to have a LS1 WS6 back in the day, car was real powerful, way to exepensive on gas though. I'm not a fan of subarus or any other sedans, but the camaro I like!
As for mods, I guess it depends on what you want out of your car. I just got my e92 a few weeks ago, I think my first mods are going to be window tint, black window trim, JB4 PnP (hopefully by spring), and Rims. I'm not a fan of loud exhausts or blow off valves, so I probably wont be doing that. However other people on here do like that and I imagine those are among the firsts things they do. |

I was there right when you were trying to get started... 2006-2007 (when I still had the STi). Hahaha... are most of you still driving e9X now? I knew devin just got that blue one. |

Sorry, don't remember your name/face, maybe if I see you in person instead of your SN...
We weren't partner or anything, but we did sub lease a place from them. We now have a place of our own in Santa Clara. You should come visit sometime! Dev doesn't have his bimmer for a LONG time now... lol! I still have my e90 since 08... I'll send you a PM in a bit... Leo Quote:

welcome to the "switched from Subie to E9X" club.
The subie was fun, but the 335's twin turbo set up is weird compared to the subie. All that power but almost no turbo lag. enjoy the car! |
