Question Hi All! Anyone Leasing a 320ED via Lex

Hi All.

My first post here. I am considering leasing a 320ED via Lex and my company. They seem to extract the urine when specifying options and so I wondered what others are paying per month for a whole life cost lease.

I can currently select Cruise control and a rear arm rest and then I've blown my budget. I'd like the sports seats but can't have them full stop! Are the standard seats comfortable and supportive enough?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Seats all depends on what you're comfy in. Following a big bang with a big van a few years back I can't stand sports seats, but each to your own.

My lease company charged the RRP for each optional extra but divided it by 48 as it's leased over 4 years.

The basic charge for a 320d SE was about £390 a month which meant I had 48x£60 to spend on extras to hit my companies allowance of £450 a month.

Total to spend on extras was £2880 all extras were at the RRP.

Hi

I've just renewed my company car, our company don't use Lex, but LeaveDrive Velo

I was able to get a 320d ED and specify the following options;

Cruise
Privicy Glass
Gloss Black Inserts
Impluse Cloth/Leather Seats
Media Package - Business Advanced (iDrive, Business Advanced Nav, Bluetooth with Telematics, BMW Assist and Online)
Auto lights and wipers
USB Audio
Split Folding Rear Seats (inc. rear armrest)
Electric Folding Mirrors
Sliding and folding front armrest
Sports Steering Wheel

My car lease band rate is £480 ex vat per month and I think with all options I'm funding approx. £60 per month, bringing the total lease cost to around £540

I know that built into the lease costs are a full maintenance plan, so everything is covered, servicing, tyres etc. for the full lease period

We just bought a AUC "ED", and it is loaded to the gunnels, but no sport seats. Having just had an M sport for 35,000 miles I was worried about not having sports seats, but on an extended test drive I found that they were not as bad as I expected. The seat still tilts (something our Audi TT seats dont do resulting in me never being able to get my whole leg supported).

To the OP's other point, bar metalic paint, lease companies simply add any extras to the lease term since they dont believe they add to the residual (rightly or wrongly).
