Rattle from day 1 finally gone

I realized that the annoying rattle that I've had since day one is gone. The rattle which the dealerships said, "no rattle found, vehicle performing as designed." The one that existed for 49 mos., well I realized it was gone after getting my windshield replaced.

imho if the windshield is improperly installed in Regensberg, BMWNA should remove it and reinstall it. Maybe there's a SIB regarding it, who knows?

Yeah, my MB ML500 squeaked everytime I hit a decent bump and I knew it was from the windshield (the seal was probably bad). It was so bad that at times, the window alarm would go off all the time randomly. When I went in 3 times, I think MB finally just disabled my alarm so I couldn't lemon it. Well, finally, when the windshield needed replacement, the new seal was done properly and it didn't squeak at every bump. Frustrating... not to mention, alignment was off from the factory and the dealership would just inflate one side of the tires to correct alignment. How cheap is that? Needless to say, I never went to Lynnfield MB in Massachusetts again and I got out of MB forever (well, at least for a while)

I don't have a squeak, but my rear window has a 2-3" area that goes across horizontally that distorts everything (ie, super tall or super short). Really really annoying.

Anyone have rattles from the airvent? I have rattles on the center passenger vent when I go over uneven roads. Gets really annoying.

I noticed my 2011 E92 is far quieter than my 2009 E90 was when it is below freezing out. The E90 was squeaking and creaking inside like crazy until the car warmed up.

I made my rattles go away by taking out the mufflers. It was the only way.
