Need help please (especially folks in MS)

Have a sister working at a company's HQ in Starkville, MS (zip is 39759). She has an '06 E90 with a battery that has gone dead on her today. Does anyone have any recommendations or references to a nearby mechanic, or what else she can do?!? Please help... thanks!

To follow-up, sounds like she's got a starter issue. The car has power (lights work, but no crank/click/etc.). Getting it towed to the shop to see what they can do. The nearest dealership is in Alabama, about 80miles away.

I'm in Jackson, MS. I know that I'm doing mechanically but there's also a BMW dealership in Jackson (Herrin Gear BMW; www.herringearbmw.com) and one in Meridian which I have only driven by and don't know much about. I also personally recommend the guys in Jackson at Capitol Sports Center. They work on bimmers, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, etc. Very competent guys and they'll do it right.

When you do find a mechanic (you should check the regional area in this forum) ask him if he knows how to register the battery. If he says "Huh?" RUN, don't walk, RUN away and find someone else or go to the dealer.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
