Re: gasket leaks oil-Need your help, pls
Hey guys, I'm kinda new on the forum. I'm so glad to know there are such great and detailed discussion-thanks! I've got a '06 e90 and absolutely love it! Unfortunately, it's got a gasket leak in the middle of the block toward the cabin. The oil drips onto the exhaust pipe and creates smokes that get's into the cabin. I would appreciate it a great deal if anybody can refer me to a certified bmw mechanic in SoCal (I.E.) who can fix it for a good price. Thank you much in advance!!!

^ You are better off posting this in the regional section in this forum.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
