I'm late on this (because I've been having too much fun with it!) but I figured I'd share our excitement over my wife and I's new car (got it just before Christmas). Traded in my '04 STi for it, and we love this so much more. No complaints whats so ever!

Yep, our families live there, and the taxes are less there, and it meant we had a 6 hour drive to bring it home

We do! My '04 STi was modded to a high degree (by yours truly

) and while it was a beast (380hp at the wheels) it was getting to the point of constantly needing work (also by yours truly

). Living in NYC now we don't drive it a whole lot except on trips/vacation/work occasionally it was getting to be a bother worrying about it breaking down on a 6+ hour trip somewhere. One time it stranded my wife just outside the Lincoln tunnel for 4 hours and that was pretty much the last straw. This car is so much nicer, so much more comfortable on long trips, and for now much more reliable. So we're very happy!

That's good that you like it. By the way, you can get much more than 380whp out of these cars. All you need is about 2k.

Congrats...the car looks awesome...luv the interior, I wanted to get that color but was afraid I would get it dirty too quickly (between playing sports and if I have to take my dog in the car).

Is is covered in salt (from all the snow melting) yet like mine?
