Made the switch '09 E90 to '11 E92 :)

After much pondering, having considered going to a 328 from a 335, etc... I finally made a move.

I am trading in my 2009 E90 335i xDrive for a 2011 E92 335i RWD.

It turns out New Years Eve is a good time to bargain for a deal when dealers are trying to close their year with their best possible sales results

My desire was for a coupe, which is why I also considered a 328 but after all kinds of feedback, I decided against that.

Final decision:

2011 335i Vermillion Red, Black Dakota Leather, Executive Package, Navigation, Bamboo Anthracite trim, Automatic trans., has the sports suspension. Car is basically loaded, no missing options other than active steering. I am very pleased with the purchase... Love the stance of a non-xDrive E92. Didnt realize how big of a difference there was. I have my winter set of wheels/tires that will put taken off my E90 and transferred to the E92 when I pick it up.

I bought the car New Years Eve, and I pick it up today at 4pm

Good way to start the new years

I will hopefully get some pics when I pick it up and post them up later.

FYI... That year end sales pitch is BS as the sale does not go on the books until you take delivery of the car.

I only pick ip the car this afternoon. Counting the minutes

One thing I did notice with the N55 in the E92 is the sound of the exhaust. It sounds far more aggressive than the E90 with the N55. Is that just my imagination?

Regarding the year end, the deadline for delivery is today. That's how it is in Canada at least.

Lol hey now you are just making him think that he didn't really get a deal! lol

Just bring the Car Cost Canada sheet and they will give you a deal, it doesnt matter what time of the year.

When I got my 2011 I got almost $4k off fully loaded as well thats when the 2011 just came out.

Anyways congrats!

I am going to lower my xi summer time so it will look better than stock.

I just can't see myself going to something smaller or buying another E9x though and calling it an upgrade.
