this is not a repost...
well had to get my car towed in a couple weeks ago for violent shaking and engine light (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=468306)...it seemed like they fixed everything for the last week until i got in my car last night and noticed the shaking again..started driving and the light came on..this is kind of getting annoying and leaves me wondering what it could be if they literally just did some replacements for the same issue and supposedly fixed it.

I had something similar. Started her up and got a rough run, tried to put it in gear and it about shook apart. Turned it off and on a couple time and the roughness went away but the "service engine" light stayed. Took it to the service center and they replaced a coil in cyl 1. Brought it home only for it to happen the very next day. Took it back and now it's an injector in the same cylinder.
