Battery dead, can't access trunk
Hey guys i don't know if this is the right section but the current battery in the car is completely dead so now i cant open my trunk....is there a way to open the trunk without jumping it...if it helps my car is a 2006 325i 4door automatic

you can jump it from under the hood. there is a positive terminal and negative is the chasis. correct me if I am wrong. did you know that you have a regular key in your remote? the trunk can be opened with that key.

Well they actually took that key slot out of LCI models. So don't feel stupid. Someone had a similar problem but the negative battery cable was disconnected from his battery for shipping....so he couldn't jump the car. He had to "trick" the trunk into opening by tapping into the wire that opens the trunk.

at the rate things are going no dip stick no key holes there ganna make it so u cant even get in the car by 2020 i say bring some stuff back stop lacking in the good old stuff

Problem - installing JB4 and MTech spoiler...
Disconnected battery and then closed the trunk to mount spoiler...now I can't open trunk... Diagram of wires I need to jump? Key won't open the trunk... |
