Traded in my 6cyl BMW for a 10cyl one ;)

Just closed the deal on an '07 M5, I loved my 335i but it was time for something new...decided I might as well upgrade since you can steal M5's right now!

This one has 2 years left on CPO and I got it for KBB fair trade-in value! Without CPO you can find then for $35 all day long and buy the BMW extended warranty for $3k, I was going to do that but lucked out when I found this one.

That didn't take long.

Well played, and welcome, the noise alone is worth the price.

$35k for what year and miles?

I ran into one at my local MB dealer while taking my wife's car in for service, it was an 06 M5 the dealer just got as trade in, with one year CPO left, the dealer was asking $46k.

all '06s are below $40K...at least the ones that are selling are. Its not uncommon for them to go for $35K, Mine is a '07 and CPO and the dealer came down over $4K on their first counter offer, I ended up getting it for $37.

Great deals can be had if you can find them in the northern states because people wont buy a luxury item like a M5 when they are terrified to drive it in snow and dealers are anxious to offload them to out of state or internet buyers because any prospective local buyer wont be coming in for atleast 3 more months.

I wouldnt offer any higher than $500-$1000 over trade in value for any M5 right now.

Looks like it is a regional thing, the M5 I saw was gone in two days, although I did not ask if it was sold right the way or sent to the auction house.

Congrats for getting your V10 and at a super price.
