Someone recently tried that........

A family (I believe from NC) took their loved one down to Florida, at his request, and dumped him in the ocean. Although it's not illegal, you just have to make sure the body stays anchored. Well, the body washed ashore, the police were called, the family was located and questioned but later released once authorities found out what had really happened. So, just make sure you're anchored securely! lol
