Roadside parking lamps

I just noticed the front "Roadside parking lamps" (I'm not talking about the regular parking lamps) use the corona rings in the front of my '11.5 e92. Is this the lamp that they always used with Xenon on
E9x? I thought they used the front turn singal lamp.

That is what they always used.

Thanks! For some reason I thought I'd remembered it just being the turn signal in the front of my '07 e92, but I guess I was thinking about my e46.
