serous car issue

Guys. Here goes it!
I bought a 2008 335i coupe, manual trans, from a BMW dealer. 50kmiles. 3 days after, it signaled a problem with left rear brake light for a couple of days (with it actually working), then that disappeared and instead the "service engine soon" light came on, and car going in LIMP MODE. I had BMW take care of the prob; they changed system VANOS solenoids and the oil sensors, reloaded the software and no problems. codes 111427566327 oil filter, 112617607910 oil levelling sensor, 211367585425 solenoid valve.
Now, after 10 days the same symptoms are happening and they will see the car tomorrow. They now think it may had been the fuel pump (had been replaced at 30k) . I am speculating ( so is BMW) but could there be something wrong with the computer system, its just that the rear light sensor (both times) then car goes limp!! What do u guys think?

Hard to say but it seems like you'll be getting a new HPFP and you might be getting new injectors as well.

What dealer are you using? VOB?

The brake light is undoubtedly a separate issue.

Agreed, Just got done checking the bulbs and seats on my right rear brake light cause of the error message, took the bulbs out and reseated them and it fixed the problem. The other stuff however is definitely a separate issue.
