New to e90 post, and was wondering if i should buy this?

Hello,
I'm new to e90post and was wondering if you all could help me on deciding if I should buy this or not.

I think the price is at a steal with the amount of miles, and i suppose the heated seats and sport package I can do without. The only reason I can do without is because I will be chipping it and putting new suspension, with new wheels on it anyways.

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ctd/2098129595.html

Tell me what you all think.

Also if I buy it, I want to get the M3 wheels on there and was wondering where I can get the replicas for it?

Thanks for the help!

It looks like a decent deal.

I think chipping a NA engine isn't quite worth it, but suspension and wheels will definitely change the look and feel.

got my m3 replicas in 18" from **********s.
they should still have some in stock.

here's a quick pic after i put them on in the spring.

square setup.

they have staggered if you want

oh, i didn't use their included center pieces, i bought actual bmw centerpieces which fit perfectly. my m sticker keeps falling off so i stopped putting them on.

We do have the M3 style wheels available just as chowser51 posted up. I can't shoot you over a PM due to your low post count so drop me an email here at Alan************.com and I'd be more than happy to get you some more details!

Definitely not a steal. Maybe a decent deal, but with having zero options, I think it is priced in the neighborhood of how it should be.

1) Is it still covered under the manufacturers warranty? Don't assume.
2) Call a BMW dealer with that VIN and make sure it is still covered under warranty.

The only reason I say this is because they list it as "AS IS". Makes me wonder.

Naturally do a carfax report and have a mechanic take a look at it.

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Price is good, miles are good, hopefully it has a clean title and such. I'd go more miles+options, but yes, I'd say that car is priced appropriately. Could be a nice daily driver, or for the wifey.
