which OBD-USB cable
I'm going to have Patrys do some coding but I'd like to pick up my own OBD cable. ECS tuning has THIS ONE but it seems pricey. There are several others on eBay but they don't specifically mention BMW. As long as its OBDII should I be ok?
Thanks, Howard

This ecs cable is actually really cheap for an obd to usb cable if it will work for e90's. The one cable that has been suggested to use with e90 cars is about $110. I'm not sure if the one at ecs can be used with e90's even though it's listed in the ecs compatibilty chart. I know that earlier bmw's can use the modified vag cable, but not sure if ours can. Anyone know? If so, this is a great cheap cable to use. Do you have to use the diagnostic cable emulator to get this cable to work with DIS?
