2007 335i wet carpet

Hey fellas help me out. I was cleaning my car today and noticed my carpet was wet only on the drivers side and only underneath the break pedal and accelerator pedal. It is NOt coolant just plain water. I basically took all the carpet out and can not find where it is coming in from. HELP

Could be a plugged sunroof drain hose.

If its been raining its most likely the sunroof drain hose or the vapor barrier in your driver door. Do a search.

Well I found the drains for the sun roof and poured water in them and the water hit the ground so I'm assuming that isnt it. Why would the vapor barrier allow water in one concentrated area? I mean it only wet near both pedals and no where else.

I really like this car but some of the BS issues I have had are starting to sway me to get rid of it. New trans, brakes, wheel bearing, cup holders, sun-roof replaced, of course fuel pump, and no there is a clicking noise from the rear front wheel when I hot the brakes...I'm sure it is another brake issue...UGH

Mine would flood the interior whenever I would have the a/c on. Dealer first said it was an "acceptable amount of water".....

I later pulled up the carpet and found water 3 inches deep in the front footwells. They replaced some tube behind that was apparently on a service bulletin and the problem hasn't happened since.

It was probably your cowl that they replaced. There is a TSB about the cowl shrinking/drying up and allowing water to drip onto the AC blower and down into the passenger footwell. People, like me, usually find out about this TSB after their AC blower fails due to water damage (rust). It causes a squeaky noise when your blower is running.

I don't know if the driver's side was documented.
