So last night on the way home, i heard this rumble like no other, and this old man like 70+ rolls up next to me and starts blipping the throttle, I was thinking to my self, NFW. This old man wants to play. At the next light he just takes off, i was not in the mood at the time. Well the next light turned right, DTC DEACTIVATED...............

Green light, i did a slow roll to get traction and nailed it, mean while it sounds like a Jet plane was taking off, this was the chevelle with side pipes rumbling behind me, that dam car was so loud i could not hear or feel what my engine was doing, then i looked down and noticed i had hit the rev limiter in 1st gear and both me and him were sideways threw the stop light. I had 2 cars or so on him the whole way threw 2nd gear, then shut it down as it was not a safe place to go faster.

So dude follows me on to the highway, we get onto the open strech of road and he just nails it, i was in 4th just crusing when he punched it at 45 and i was behind him feathering the throttle so i would not push him out of the way. I stopped at 100 and backed off cause it was pointless to keep going, He prolly took it up to 135ish, until he hit the rev limiter.

Turns out we were both going to applebees and i followed him there and we talked for about an hour and had a beer, it was actually really cool. He was blown away by the 335i, said that was the first car that he has not beaten in his chevelle on the street in 5 years since he built it. He tracks his car and it is a 12.5 car all day long he claims, Its got the zz435 th400 4.56 gears and MT drag radials 12.5 wide.

He wanted me to race him in his Z06 that puts down 850RWHP, i declined.

But we are going to go to the drag strip one of these weekends and get some real times.

1st real kill in the new car!
