Can a slightly lower man hole cover throw off your Alignment?

Just wondering about how easy it is to throw off the alignment on our E90 3-series sports package models? Can something like a dip on the road, brick roads, or lower than normal man hole cover throw off the alignment on our cars?

All in all, yes a deep enough pothole can throw off an alignment as well as damage suspension components.

I think it depends on the circumstances though. Seeing that you are from FL I don't know what you think a bad "pothole" really is. I am from NYC, I can show you some potholes that will obliterate a good alignment as well total your rims and tires.

Also I think having Run Flats on our Cars with such stiff side walls also make the suspension work harder over bumps which will also make the car go out of alignment easy than conventional tires.
