328i TPM Faulty?
So my TPM light came on. 30psi in all tires. Noticed on the side of the tire it was NTE 40psi, so I aired them up to 37 psi all around.
Light was still on. Used the lever on the left side of the steering wheel and did the reset process, but light still remains. Rechecked and pressure is still holding at 37psi. Called BMW of Dallas and they were no help at all. I do not have iDrive, just the normal/base functions. Only owned the car for 5 months or so pre-owned. First BMW ever, not well versed with BMWs yet. Thanks |

I ask the questions you're afraid to ask.

A couple of things.
The side of the tire does not say NTE 40psi - you read that wrong That is really immaterial though because there is a sticker in your doorjamb (driver's side) that gives you the appropriate psi for your car. Set it to that when the tires are cold and then reset the TPMS |

Are you sure you have TPMS not FTM? Did you measure the PSI with a gauge? Or through the car?
FTM requires you to drive around a bit before it is reset. |
