New member, with some awful cellphone pics

What's up everyone, I'm Nick from Long Island.

Traded in my 2010 Jeep SRT8 for an e92 335xi yesterday and could not be happier. DEFINITELY made the right choice. Looking forward to learning a lot here and being part of what seems like an awesome community. Thank you for having me and I apologize for the crappy pics. Will get some better ones with a real camera later this week.

The all black look is tight. It'll look even tighter if you swap out those reflectors for painted ones.

Thanks dude, yeah, the reflectors are definitely going. I'll have plenty of time to add personal touches to the ride, so I'm in no rush, but that'll probably be the first change I make!

Was thinking I'd keep the tails as is. I need to re-do the tints as well, they're at 50% which I think looks classy. Just a tiny bit of tint. The tinter was sloppy on the back window, there are blotches in the dot matrix

Good luck with that dot matrix lmao. I went to an amazing tint guy that's renown for doing great tint jobs, and mine still came out messed up. It's not all that noticeable though, unless you're inspecting the tint to see if it's messed up of course.

Edit: Forgot to add, make sure to get rid of those orange reflectors. Don't black out the tails, the original red looks sexy.

There's a tinter who has done my last 3 cars right across the street from my office. I have faith!

X2 on the tails and reflector. Can I buy a precut vinyl piece for it or buy one painted from a vendor on here? The CF smoked ones on ebay aren't for me...

Im just waiting for one of the vendors to advertise their lamin x tint film to you haha. I have my e92 blacked out as well. Smoked reflectors is a must, but im debating if i should take off the tint on my tail lights. Im thinking the car would look cleaner if i removed the tint on the taillights but just kept the reverse lights blacked out.

Do it bro! Makes the car look less self conscious I think.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Came that way. Looks like they were powdercoated. The trim and grills are color matched to the body(BSM), the wheels are flat black.

Nice Ride!!!

Hi Nick. I live in the city and work on the Island. I got a 2011 black e92 335i xdrive a month ago. I love it. You will love yours too. BTW... Your rims are sickkkkk!!! If mine wasn't a damn lease I would get the same ones.
