07 01 Nav Disc With Jan Speed Cameras

Just hypothetically speaking ...

If I had managed to copy the new disc with postcode search and added on the latest speed camera data ... it would be very easy to run off some copies for the interested few.

I'm not saying I have such a disc .... nor am I denying it ... just saying it would be easy to run off a copy or 2

ooh, ooh, ooh... I'm sure some arrangement for postage etc could easily be decided upon, if say for example someone did happen to have such a disk!

NFS - we've done this before! Somehow, magically, a 2007 disc landed in my DVD drive! I could sent it to you?

Only this time, please keep the POI's in order! The last disc drove me mad. I would look up petrol stations and get a list of golf clubs!!

You will have to PM me your address. Remember, I only have one disc so I will rely on you to add speed cameras and then send back.

Cheers bud

Guys, speaking hypothetically of course... but you could, hypothetically, just create an ISO image of the dvd (if it were to exist), and host it on a website... and then let people know where to download from (assuming people have dvd writers of course)!

Too complicated for me I'm afraid. I will just send it to NFS, hypothetically, of course!

Said site would have to have a lot of storage available - around 4.3GB ish? Unless someone was to seed a torrent???? No use to me though - no Idrive

Me neither... was just trying to be helpful! Actually, again hypothetically speaking, but is that sort of stuff available as a torrent from sites such as http://www.isohunt.com ??

There is an '07 disk torrent out there already but there are so few seeds that it's taken over a week to download <30% of it.

NFS.. you have PM

If I had this ISO (which of course I am not admitting), including the speed cameras (with all the POI's right this time) I might well think of uploading it to rapidshare, but since it would probably be 4.7 gig it would take a long time.

If I had the disc and someone sent me a blank DVD plus an SAE I would theoretically be able to burn a copy onto said DVD, stick it in the envelope and post it back rather easily.

Of course no-one is saying that I have the disc.

Speaking completely un-hypothetically, you can download the torrent here- I think it was seeded intitally by someone who really hates the fact that BMW & Navteq charge customers for a particularly bogus & incomplete product- wonder who it was??!

Now, speaking somewhat hypothetically, if 2007-1 SatNavPro DVDs were to be made available at UK3, would there be any likelihood of members wanting to 'acquire' these discs?

I don't do torrents. What I can do is borrow a friends disc make an ISO image and add speed camera data to it. Obviously I'm not saying I have ... I'm just saying that I have the technology

I'm finding the postcode search useful though
