What's the difference that the sedan would look like a regular E90 and the coupe wouldn't? If anything the sedan would stand out more because of the coupe grille.

Agreed.

And from these shots it seems that from the A-piller forward both cars will pretty much look identical, difference being the 4-door or 2-door body from the a-pillar backwards... Should be a great move on BMWs part

It's like the Mercedes C55 AMG. It's a sedan, but it has the CLK coupe's hood+grille, unique.

I hope that you won't kill me for saying that i think the bulge in the hood looks rather stupid ^^

I mean, it seems as if it's not even straight but going up! ..

but it's still a very pretty car

Because that's just a temporary covering they put on to cover the engine for now. I'm sure the production hood's bulge will look great.
