Splitting up Zaino Process over 2 days
I just now finished the dawn wash and claying process.
My question is, what is the best state to leave the car in overnight? Should I leave it as is now, or wash with z-7 and then leave it in the garage until tomorrow? A quick answer would be appreciated as the sun is going down! Thanks. |

Probably should post this in the detail forum.
If you just finished claying you'll want to wash off any residue before putting her to bed. Washing it again in the morning wouldn't hurt before applying your layers of Z2/Z5. |

Oops. Let me post this in detailing.
I'm just getting your response...I don't plan on driving the car tomorrow to work so do I really have to wash it off before putting it to bed? |

I'm thinking for you that Texas would be the best state to leave it in over night.
Seriously though, when I've needed to do this, I leave the car in a clean state -- no further washing necessary -- and, while standing on a chair or step ladder, lightly toss a couple clean (still folded in the package from the dry cleaner and not dragged across the ground) silk or satin sheets over top of the car. (By this I mean, do not drag the sheet across the cars surface. If you can't just open your sheet and with some vigorous up/down movements get it to billow down onto the car, lay the sheet flat on the car and unfold it on the car.) My car is garaged. If you don't have a garage, I don't know what I'd suggest...maybe use a car cover? If you have to use cotton sheets, you may want to break out a blow dryer in the a.m. when you remove the sheet and just blow away any lint/dust that may have settled off the sheet. Good luck.

You could just have an angle fart on it for overnight protection. j/k
But seriously...If it's in a covered clean garage it should be fine overnight |

What are you planning to do tomorrow?
Personally I wouldn't bother doing anything more for the overnight rest.
