Hows the handling of the E90 in the snow?

I just moved from Long Beach, CA. to North Chicago, IL. I was stationed here before and I grew up in Queens, NY. So driving in the snow is nothing new. But then again Ive never driven a rear wheel drive car in the snow. I was wondering how (06 325i) it handles in the snow that way I'd know if Im better off purchasing an SUV. Thanks.

Get winter tires and it is a piece of cake.

My E90 M3 is better in the winter than my old TL.

You still need to adjust to winter driving though so slow down and drive normal and allow longer braking. Everything will be ok.

I think the 50/50 weight dstribution makes a huge difference in winter driving.

Lol about the whole TL spill. I almost bought the TL Type S before the E90. Thanks for the advice. Living in CA I forgot the invention of snow tires.

+1. Its all about the tires. Drive safely and get some good winter tires, it will do great.

ideally you will run thinner winter rubber, Thinner tires cut through snow better - like 235 or 245, (not necessarily staggered the way oem's come) but not thicker than 245, and 18" is better than 19".
