328i question
I am newbie and about to become a new owner of a 328i.
I'm negotiating with a dealer and he gave me the offer on a new 2011 BMW 328i, whose model states that its 1182 328i SA S. On searching this code, I'm finding that it is a SULEV model and its assembled in South Africa. Am I getting jipped by paying the average price for 328i for this car? Should I push to get a Germany made car and ULEV (better engine)? Advice is greatly appreciated - time sensitive. FYI - I live in California. |

SULEV is a CARB state thing. You won't be able to get a ULEV in CA. SA or Germany really makes no difference.

Actually, if they haven't changed it yet, you can specify whether you get SULEV or ULEV. This was back in April. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed.
