Valencia BMW, Rishi Bansal and Robert Grass

Two big thumbs up to Rishi and Robert at Valencia BMW.

I just purchased an e90 335i from them and also sent them a few other customers as well.

They are great guys.
Easy to work with.
No nonsense deals.
They'll find you the car that fits your needs, if it's available.

I've bought many, many cars over the last 16 years and this was one of the best buying experiences yet.

Lots of post purchase service and leads.

Looking forward to continuing my relationship with these guys and Valencia BMW.

Thanks Rish !!!!!

Robert and Rishi are not in the 'General Sales' population.

If you went over there with either of thier names, you would have been taken care of very well.

Hence the reason for this post.

I've been to a 'certain' Audi delearship with an etrocious reputation, but when going back with a specific person refered to me, it was a great experience.

Just like any other dealership, if you go in there 'armed', you get taken care of better than the average joe just walkin in off the street, where the sales guys are too busy texting the 'flavor of the week'.

So, when needing a BMW in the Valley areas, have no worries or doubts about Valencia BMW, but ask for Rishi or Robert and you'll be taken care of.

Case in point, Rishi is going to give me his personal BMW and take my car to the body shop to have my spoiler put on this week.

I don't know of any other sales guys offering that up, do you ?

THats pretty sad Im a local to the dealership,

and yet your telling the forum you have to go in and drop names of people not even in the general sales to get good service!!!!

THAT the biggest BS ive ever heard of!! how the hell do they expect to make sales..this is not my first time with the same experience on there lot by the way either!!!

I have bought 2 bmwz CASH!!! valencia bmw had there chance BOTH times..
I went back for the 335 thinking i would get different servcice but NOPE same shit"Ya someone will be out to help u soon"
20min later while 2 sales guys are standing there bullshitting I got in my Benz and drove off..
I was fully armed man u dont think i do research?? I had invoices in hand ready to deal!!!
THis dealership is super BIas...if your not in a suit/tie or over 40 dont expect to be helped!!.
I ended up getting a way better deal than valencia can offer any day of the week...

AND im proud to roll my LONG BEACH BMW plate on ther LOT!!! IT brings me great joy especially when u park in front the lady manager and make her ass wait there while ur getting parts!!(let alone i didnt now that she was pulling a new 5 series to lunch)
And then when shes bitching at me when i come out I laughed at her in her face and told her to
"READ u see that Ya long beach bmw and I live right around the corner"

Im so appauled at this dealer its unreal!!!

In most cases, I'd agree with ADHD about the joyriding thing, but I know and trust Rishi.

He's a good guy, not to mention a member of this forum. He's got a modified E90 330i, and like me, he drives BMW's ALL day. He's got no need to joyride a customer's. He can joyride one of the dealership's, with no consequences unless he crashes.

Management is shit, and the tech's have changed since I was there last, so I can't comment on the tech's.

I hear a lot of complaints about their service department, though.

Am I missing something here? when did Long say you personally take the car out for a joyride at your work? He was stating if an SA takes a new car out for a joyride, some unknowing customer will end up buying the car without knowing the true history of it...

I understood Long, but I was simply referring to "we" in the BMW employee sense.

Speaking of local dealerships. Closest one to me is SouthBay BMW. I am not sure if it can get any worse than them It seems like anytime I have to do anything with them, there is a problem.

Matt, can you recommend a good dealership to go in for service?
I bought my car from Pacific BMW, got a great deal on the car and trade in through the internet manager. However I read too many stories of horrible service department.

I'm in the San Fernando Valley, so I would prefer to travel as little as possible for service, is there any dealerships with good service dept. around here?

What a joke.

When I said 'armed' I meant that you/I have a name contact to speak with.
I NEVER deal with a general sales guy without a referal, as 95% of them don't know dick and I know more than the sales 'professional'.

Bottom line, Robert and Rishi were recommended to me and my sales experience was Excellent !!!

As far as 'Valencia wouldn't give me a good deal'...............
I made my deal with Rishi.
I then contacted sales personel that I already had contacts with at Bob Smith, Center and Century West.
Two of them wouldn't match the deal and the third laughed at me and said I was lying..... What a Joke that 'stealership' is.......

In the 17 years I've had a drivers license, I've owned 12 cars.
American, German, Swedish, Japanese and this sales experience ranks up there with the best of them.

Sales guys don't give a rats ass if you have cash or a bank is ponying up the cash. A sale is a sale.

What you talk about is why I will NEVER just walk onto a lot and talk to the first jick jack that walks out and talks to me while texting his girlfriend.

I'm not saying you should have to have a recommendation.
I'm not saying you should have to name drop.

I'm just saying, that in this day and age of Shitty customer service, that is the only way to go about business now a days.

Not just with cars, but with any major purchase.

Do you think I just walked into my new house and bought it from the sales agent ? Hell no.

If you want good sales, just ask for them.
Or go somewhere else and take your chance with the chump that actually DOES Joyride the cars.

As far as thier service dept. goes, I'll tell you how good it is when they service my car.

Or I'll just have Matt stop by my house and do it all and I'll trade him off for Photo tips ! ;-)

Thanks for a great sales experience Rish.
See you thursday night to borrow your personal M Cab while my spoiler gets put on at a discount price !! ;-)

Over and out......stick a fork in me..... I'm done......

Kujo; you are right on so many levels. Most of the salespeople in the car business change jobs frequently and know absolutely nothing about the cars they are selling.

Having worked in sales for a couple of decades it's the 80/20 rule: 20% of the salespeople sell 80% of the cars. Do you want to buy you're new BMW from some Bozo who was selling Kias last week?

In any event, if you find someone who actually know's what they are doing; all the better. If that person is selling cars in a Fleet or Internet Department, even that much better.
