Poll: Monaco Blue on E92 goes best with which dakota?
Wondering what people's thoughts are on combinations for Monaco Blue on E92 with respect to leather colour. Personally, I like the Cream Beige as it works "best" with MB but a little too light. While black may not be the best match, the interior looks somwhat more sporty.
What do you guys think? |

I have an e90 Monaco Blue/Grey combo. I think it looks fantastic even after having it for over a year now. Both sporty and classy, IMO.

I'd roll with black, because it looks awesome and is easier to "clean," but cream is pretty pimp.. it depends what kind of look you're going for and how clean you can keep it... my 2 cents... good luck

I love the Monaco/Back combo. I Had light gray once and never again. Black is very easy to keep clean.

The cream is pretty, but I bet it's hell to keep clean. Not the seats -- the doors and console.
I'm guessing the gray is nice, too -- my dad had a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL (the long-wheelbase S-Class diesel) in a dark blue (a bit lighter than Monaco) with a gray interior, and it was very distinctive. My current GTI is a dark gray interior + exterior. The gray leather interior is very nice in that car, too. I had a little trouble with it first weekend I had it: I drove to NY (about 180 miles), and after driving down in blue jeans and back in black jeans, the seats were starting to take on the blue and black. When I got home, I cleaned and conditioned the seats with Lexol products -- the seats went back to their original color, and have stayed that way. Nicer feel to the leather now, too. But, back to the Monaco E92. I ordered saddle for mine. If I could have gotten cream or gray TWO-TONE (black carpet, console, dash, and upper/lower door sections), I probably would have done that. I've seen pix of cream/black, but I guess that's not a US-available combo. I really liked the two-tone saddle interior.

Having seen monaco in combination with a few different colors (I'm about to order a monaco e90 myself), I find that I like the way it looks with the e90 beige, but something seems lacking with the e92 cream beige. It might be that monaco is such a deep color that it can stand up to the darker interior better.
Monaco looks great with black, surprisingly good with terra and while I don't like the grey interior myself, I can see the appeal. But the best combo I've seen so far is with saddle. Something about a dark blue/brown combo gives the coupe a very distinguished, yet relaxed look- it looks very unique, but in a classic, rather than flashy, sort of way. |

I originally ordered the cream beige, but wasn't crazy about the beige dash and carpets (my Audi has cream colored seats with black dash and carpets, which works well), so I changed the order to saddle brown. |

I kind of would like to see the split of the "other" votes on gray and saddle. Guess it looks like beige is the most popular so far.

Another vote for saddle...thats a beautiful combo i.e. Monaco Blue/Saddle/either of the trims. The 2 tone aspect of saddle makes it classy
