325d touring motor problems

hello

I am new in this forum and I would like show my problem. Recently I have bought 325d touring and I am having problems with the motor when the revolutions are between 1800 and 2000. In this interval it loses power and only it happens when the humidity of the atmosphere is low .The factory of BMW has changed the particle filter and has updated the programming but it follows equal.

Somebody knows east problem?

Thanks

jesus mari

Jesus mari ? is that your name ? I have a 325d and also get some sort of flat spot around there but only when I sort of feather the throttle. At the moment I press the pedal harder and have gotten used to it, its not been so bad recently (5K miles now) I`m trying to avoid going to the dealers as ts been remapped. If its still like it at service time I`ll get the Ecu reflashed then and get the remap re-instated. Let us now how yours go`s.

Its the particulate filter in the exhaust going through a re-generation phase. It does it every 800-1500km for about 20 mins or so. It burns the crap in the exhaust so emissions are cleaner. When it is doing it, you notice that the engine looses power very slightly, and it normally does it when you are at a constant speed (like the motorway) but if you dont do constant speed driving it has no choice but to do it when your accelerating/decelerating during town driving. So if you do lots of drvining in town it will be more noticable to you compared to someone who drives at a constant motorway speed.
