Orange County and front plates?
How strict is OC parking enforcement and cops on front plate tickets? Specifically, around Fullerton/Brea/Placentia area.
I know in LA the parking enforcement is really insane about it. I've gotten two front plate tickets while parked on the street in LA...

Not nearly as strict as the big cities. Lack of parking meters = lack of meter maids ticketing parked cars for violations.

Ive never heard of any of my friends getting no front license tickets while they were parked. I live in the fullerton/la habra area and I go to Brea often, never once seen anyone get ticketed either. Like someone said, there's basically no parking meters here and so you don't get meter maids.

Well I received a ticket back in march maybe 3 blocks from where I live in placentia no front plate and tint ticket at 630 am .
Worse part about it was the cop was in a SUV and he made an illegal right turn to follow me from the left turning signal. If my girl wasn't in the car I would of had some choice words for that cop. No where is technically safe if a cop wants to pull you over for no plate they can..

i got a no front plate ticket and front tint ticket while driving on the 405 in irvine one night. slapped my front plate on with double sided tape and took it to a local police station. cop saw the plates but didnt care for the tint and signed off on the ticket. cost me $50 for the ticket and $15 for police station to sign it (free from chp but id gladly pay my police station $15 to look the other way).

It costs about 180ish if you want to just pay it off, or fix the violation and pay 25 bucks.

this has been covered many times... Its a risk most people take, because we are all informed of the costs involved. As noted above, its near the 200 dollar range for paying the fine without correcting it. BUT if you simply put the plate on and get an officer to sign it saying that the violation is corrected, then its only 25 dollars. (")>
