Bilstein Shock- Heavy Duty - Monotube Construction

Hi All,
A quick question.
i have 2003 2.5i Z4. it has 60k. it is very bumpy on bumbpy roads,specially in new york,all roads are fu*d up

i was thinking to replace stock shocks with Bilstein Shock- Heavy Duty .

i am not sure if i should replace stock shocks at 60k miles or should i wait,,and for how long? should Bilstein Shock- Heavy Duty
will bilstein shocks make ride smooth and better handling?


please help
