scratched side plastic panel, need help

Hi
I made a mistake and let my wife drive my E92.... she drove close to the curb and deeply scratched the bottom of the plastic panel (underneath the door). the scratch is long and deep and most of it is concealed yet some is visible. I can cover part of this with some touch up paint but it still shows. any ideas of how to DIY fix ?
Thanks
BP

Depending on exactly how deep, you may be able to wet sand it down a little. That will help, but by no means will it be perfect. To get it back 100%, it will probably have to be replaced.

Thanks.
I did correct some with a touch of paint. looks OK, i think it is not too bad to be replaced. Thanks for the advice
