angel eyes stayed on, was on Auto
I have had my E90 for 8 months. It has always been on AUTO for the lights. During the day, i went for an appointment. I returned 30min later and noticed the angel eyes were on. When i got in the car I looked at the dial and it was still on AUTO. i thought i bumped it or something. What do you think happened? a malfunction?

Has to be a malfunction! Take it to the dealer and let them check it out. Has it happened again?

I know the angel lights stay on if you shut off the car and don't open the driver side door. So unless you got out from one of the other door, I'd check if it happens again and bring it to the dealer.

Thanks. It has not happened again as far as i know. However,I don't always approach the car from the front when I park. I just wanted to be sure there was not a senario that would cause them to do that before I contact the dealer.

It looks like an electronic glitch. It happened to me before on my one month old Lexus RX300 but this time the lights will not turn on at night. It was recalled and the good thing is that Lexus gave me a $50 AMEX gift card for bringing in my car.
