Been some research done on this and other Forums on topic...I followed their reccomendations at bought a kit from Tischer...added "BMW tire tote" (gray sack with velcro) and got a wide flat bungee to secrure tire tight against back seat in the trunk...you can still set fairly good sized items (think case of wine) on top of tire and have over a foot of space behind it! After reading BMW's safe "range" on the run flats w/o air...I decided on spare...not keen about being "out in the boonies" on a Sunday drive 100+ miles from home and getting a flat with no spare..plus if you hit jagged metal or something....you might cut a RunFlat bad enuff to make it useless... air/no air and then you're SOL w/o a spare. I'm also seriously thinking about not replacing tires with RFT's when they wear out...more selection and you can get all season high perforamance tires with decent treadwear (400 instead of the 140 on the OEM RFT's) for less money, plus all tire shops can work on regular tires, not all have the tire machines required for low profile RFT's! More reasons to think about switchin!

Bavarian Auto has a kit, too. That's the one I bought for our 335i.

The non-RFT tires you'll be replacing the RFTs with will be the same size. Most tire shops worth their salt don't have problems mounting low profile tires anymore. Sears, maybe.

Yeah true, stupid they don't have them available in the states. I was lucky enough to grab one while I was stationed there.

Do you know if this kit will work with a 335xi, staggared 18" wheels, sport package?
