Monaco and Terra

anyone have this combination? the only Terra car i've seen in person was Sparkling Graphite...

would Terra work with Monaco Blue? or no?

(and my main problem with Terra is that I'm not totally sold on the trim options with it. I think Terra and Piano Black would rock, but of course we have no option like Piano Black in the US)

I think it would look awesome. I have seen Monaco and Auburn on a 5 series. That looked great.

A guy I know has Monaco/Terra on his e90. Looks great. He's also got full custom black Alcantara headliner, trunk lining, and carbon-fiber trim. The car's amazing. There's some pix in the New England forum.

I have a Monaco/Saddle Brown car on its way. Right now it's sitting in Bremerhaven, waiting for a boat.

Go to the main e90post.com page and scroll to the bottom where it has links to "sedan/wagon photos." Click the Monaco Blue link. There are several pictures of Monaco with Terra in there. This is the color combo I'm going with as well.

Hello,
I've got the Monaco / Terra combo on my e90. I also have the Burl. It looks great. I think that I may have gone with the Poplar if I had to do it again though just because it would have been more of a contrast. I had the alum in my old car and it looked good also, but i wanted a change. I haven't taken any pictures yet.

Thumbs up

Best interior color choice IMHO. I have the deep green exterior with dark walnut and it looks great! (I know some consider this color dated, but I like it and it's very rare - I've only seen a few deep green cars and they ALL had beige interiors)

The only thing I'd change is to go for the slightly lighter Poplar wood. It has more contrast so you will see the grain better AND it's actually an extra cost option on some other models!

I have Monaco with Terra and aluminum and love the combo. It's not an especially sporty combo but I think it looks modern and classy. If you want more pictures let me know. I can try and get some in good light.

u wont regret it, it looks really good. similar to my mystic blue and terra w/burl. most pics dont capture the true color of terra, so don't base your decision on pics alone.

I went with burl with terra as I thought the contrast would be better than with the poplar. Also thought the wood was more in keeping with the "Sherlock Holmes' library chair" color of the terra than was the more sporty aluminum. Whatever the trim, the terra is super--dark floors for less dirt but not too dark as an overall space. Two-tone doors are cool too,
